Learning for a better life

Distance learning course design: towards new approaches to training

The implementation of new technologies and new learning approaches is leading training professionals to make fundamental changes to their programmes. They must now, for example, learn to combine training, information and collaboration, and find new ways of balancing face-to-face and distance learning, synchronous and asynchronous learning, and formal and informal learning.

Their working methods have to change as a result. Aware of this major challenge, CrossKnowledge offers full support with the design and structuring of training packages.

This support is based chiefly on:

  • Prior analysis of the most relevant skills development packages given the strategic and HR challenges faced by the client.
  • Development of score cards which make it possible to decide on the most relevant format for the packages given their target learners, the subjects to be covered, and the available means.
  • Definition of the packages, deployment of training paths, and development of learning sequences (content selection, choice of learning format and types of tutoring, and so on).
  • Design of dashboards to help manage the training programmes and to demonstrate value creation.
