Gregory Katz is chaired professor of the ESSEC-Sanofi Chair, ESSEC Business School (Paris-Singapore), co-director of the ESSEC Institute of Health Economics & Management and Executive Director of the Fondation Générale de Santé.
He teaches leadership and corporate social responsibility, as well as innovation management in the health industries. His publications focus on the socio-economic impact of biomedical progress. As principle investigator, he has published a number of articles in international journals such as the Yale Journal of Public Health, Law and Ethics. Gregory Katz was a visiting professor at INSEAD in 2004 (Singapore) and at Bocconi University SDA in 2006 (Italy). He is a member of several journal editorial boards including Philosophy of Management and the International Journal of Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Marketing.
Gregory Katz regularly advises public and private organizations in the health industry. On questions of public health, he is frequently invited in expert panels by the French Senate, the Conseil d’Etat, the French Health Ministry and the European Parlement. Since 2008, he has been heading the Fondation Générale de Santé, which received in 2009 the Grande Cause Nationale label issued by the French Prime Minister.
