CrossKnowledge launches the Nyenrode Masterclass in L&D

In 2017 Nyenrode – nr 1 business university in the Netherlands – launched a unique and strategic initiative ‘powered’ by McKinsey and Crossknowledge: the International Masterclass Learning & Development Leadership (MLD).

This Masterclass is the first global, fully blended development program for the next generation of Learning & Talent leaders. In 2017 the first group of 23 participants from 11 countries were inspired by the Masterclass and finished their 6 months development journey by delivering a personal business case.

The MLD was established with support from senior corporate HR and Talent professionals who scoped and evaluated the program design in the Program Advisory Board. The key faculty members for this MLD are Prof. dr. Nick van Dam (Nyenrode professor Corporate L&D and McKinsey Chief Learning Officer) and Drs. Jan Rijken (Director CrossKnowledge Learning Institute). The International Masterclass Learning & Development Leadership is a demanding and challenging program for participants in terms of preparation, active participation, self-reflection, teamwork, sharing best practices and lessons learned and presenting among other activities

Logo NyenRodeThe Masterclass is an innovative program with the CrossKnowledge Blendedˣ online platform and content library as foundational elements for the participants: videos, web based training modules, webinar recordings, book summaries, performance support tools and social learning.

The 2018 Masterclass program is a 6 months development journey, with 3 times a 2.5 day face-to-face module, focused on developing strategic L&D skills. These modules will be run at the 2 Nyenrode campus sites in Amsterdam and Breukelen.

There are still a few seats available for the 2018 Masterclass! We are looking for candidates who are very motivated to participate; self-directed and active learners; eager to share and facilitate; are critical, willing to reflect on their behaviors and mindsets; open to experiment with different ways and methods; and finally have the ambition to innovate and successfully transform learning & development practices in their organizations. It is the expectation that participants co-create their learning journey in collaboration with other participants, external coaches and faculty.
