Going digital brings a host of advantages: mass distribution, customization, saving time, compatibility with new work methods (ATAWAD – Any Time, Any Where, Any Device), learner progress monitoring and assessment… the list goes on. And yet for these benefits to be recognized by learners, it’s vital to design content that is both useful and enjoyable. We can no longer just recycle classroom training materials: digital learning has its own codes and requirements. To get the best from digital content, you have to design and produce material that is both efficient and offers an enjoyable ongoing learning experience.
The aim of this guide is to give you the keys to developing digital content with high added-value. We will be focusing on what is currently the most commonly used type of digitalized content, namely e-learning modules. This guide is broken down into three critical parts that will help boost your digital learning module. Part 1: Criteria for judging the value of a module. Part 2: Basic design and production rules. Part 3: Efficiency in project management.
