Where learning drives future workforce capability
Rueil-Malmaison – January 19th, 2026
CrossKnowledge, a global leader in digital learning, today announced the launch of Capabl™, the complete rebranding and technological evolution of the CrossKnowledge Learning Suite (CKLS). This transformation represents a fundamental shift from a content-led narrative to an operating-model value proposition, powered by the foundational debut of Capabilise© AI, the capability-building intelligence behind Capabl.
Capabl is not merely a name change; it is the operational execution of CrossKnowledge’s Capability framework and Skill-to-Impact Model©. By weaving Capabilise AI into the very fabric of the platform, CrossKnowledge is effectively “Capabilising” the workforce, turning theoretical strategy into measurable business outcomes.
“The market perception of learning platforms as static, aging repositories is over,” said Mark Harris, Chief Revenue Officer at CrossKnowledge. “With Capabl, we are providing the high-performance infrastructure organizations need to future-proof their workforce. We are moving beyond functional features to assert clear skills authority, ensuring our clients can finally execute the complex strategies developed by our consulting teams.“
A Modular Ecosystem for Total Transformation
Capabl introduces a streamlined taxonomy of modules, each designed to drive specific organizational outcomes through the power of Capabilise AI:
- Capabl Explore (formerly Learning Channel): A curated discovery space focused on engagement within a high-impact learning ecosystem.
- Capabl Build (formerly Blendedx): The architect’s toolkit for designing sophisticated, blended learning activities with maximum efficiency and flexibility.
- Capabl Transform (New): A next-generation program modality designed to eliminate complex workarounds. It offers structured, multi-step learning journeys with integrated assessments, live sessions, and clear “Module sequencing” to guide learners through complex curricula.
- Capabl Grow (New): The highly anticipated AI-powered skills recommendation engine. Capabl Grow delivers immediate “zero-configuration” value, allowing learners to identify critical skills through a conversational chatbot or direct selection from a global ontology.
The Power of Capabilise AI
At the heart of the platform lies Capabilise AI, an intelligent layer that transforms the suite from a repository into a proactive agent in workforce growth. Capabilise AI continuously maps learning content, activities, and programs to a unified skills and roles ontology, creating a shared intelligence across the entire learning ecosystem. This dynamic mapping enables the platform to understand not just what content exists, but what capability it develops, for whom, and for what purpose.
This engine automates the complex configurations that previously hindered scalability, allowing Learning Designers to reuse existing content and reduce creation time while providing learners with hyper-personalized journeys by default.
Seamless Integration
Capabl is built for the modern enterprise ecosystem. Designed as an open “Skill Authority,” it features robust integration capabilities—including Smartlinks, SCORM, APIs, pre-built connectors to Enterprise HRIS and Data-as-a-Service (DaaS)—to ensure total data fluidity across HRIS and LMS landscapes. This architecture paves the way for any complementary strategic solution partnership.
Global Availability
The transition to Capabl began with a General Availability release on January 8, 2026. The platform will be available in 10 languages, including English, French, Portuguese, Japanese, and German.
