Foster well-being in the workplace with our brand-new online Path to Performance (P2P) course, Ensure Your Mental Health and Well-being in the Workplace, developed with experts Gill Hasson and Donna Butler.

In October, we launched a similar course for managers and HR professionals to support staff in building their resilience and achieving greater happiness at work. This new course has been specifically designed to help employees balance their professional and personal lives and look after their own well-being and mental health at work.

With these two courses, everyone in your company can be aligned on the same good practices and contribute to a healthier and happier workplace where everyone can thrive.

Our course guides are Wiley bestselling author Gill Hasson, who has over 20 years’ experience in teaching, coaching, and writing about personal development, and Donna Butler, a psychotherapist who has worked in the UK National Health Service (NHS) for over 30 years at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust. Together, they are the authors of the recently published Mental Health and Well-being in the Workplace (Capstone/Wiley), from which this course has been adapted.

Ensure your mental health and well-being in the workplace

People working with large, dangerous machines tend to be quite conscious of their physical safety and what they need to do to protect it. But sometimes workers are less conscious of how their workplace’s stressors and demands can affect their mental health and well-being. This course shows how we all must take responsibility for and address our mental well-being in the workplace, including how to deal with overwhelming tasks, anxiety, bullying and other issues.

A practical guide for a happier and healthier workplace

This course comprises the following four key steps:

  1. Understand mental health and well-being in the workplace
  2. Look after your well-being at work
  3. Manage your mental health at work
  4. Deal with workplace bullying, harassment and sexual assault
