Automatic Logout Feature for Enhanced Security
As part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen the security of our platform, we will be enhancing the automatic logout feature. This feature allows you to control how the learners’ connections are handled during a period of inactivity. It will enable you to protect their personal information and learning progress. It helps prevent unauthorized access to the accounts, especially when using shared or public devices. By implementing this feature, we aim to ensure your learning environment remains safe and secure.
Starting January 7, 2025, you can choose to log out a learner automatically after X minutes of inactivity. Shortly before the selected time period expires, the learner will receive a pop-up message asking if they want to continue their session. The learner will automatically be disconnected if they do not reply within one minute.
This means that if they are inactive for the specified time, they will be required to log in again to continue using the platform.
You can also choose not to activate the feature (which is the default setting); in that case, the learner will remain connected indefinitely.
